Niquanna Barnett

MS, LMFT-IT, RPT-IT

Niquanna Barnett is a Marriage and Family Therapist and Community Integrated Services supervisor at Orion Family Services in Madison, WI. She attended Carroll University where she earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and then later went on to attend Capella University where she earned her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She also completed certificates in Play Therapy and Compulsive Addictions at Capella University. Niquanna most recently has developed a workshop on historical trauma that has been both insightful and helpful to the community. Niquanna presented two years in a row for the CHHSM annual conference, presented at Carroll University and has also presented for several other agencies in Wisconsin and an agency in Arizona. She has also guest lectured at University of Wisconsin Madison. She most recently helped develop and leads the Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity Advisory Board at her agency. Niquanna also volunteers her time working with WAFCA to help develop topics and programming that is culturally competent. Niquanna was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI but currently resides in Janesville, WI where she enjoys spending time at her gods kids sporting events, working out and working on writing her book that she hopes to one day finish.
